When you receive an offer of a place at SGSM, you will usually be asked to pay for Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). This is a compulsory health insurance that is required for the issuing of a student visa. OSHC cover is currently administered by a government-run private hospital service and covers up to 85% of the fee charged for a visit to a private doctor. It also covers emergency ambulance transport and part of the cost of prescription medicines.
